CA-CWG applauds DCC for taking action on potency inflation
September 15, 2023 - The ACIL California Cannabis Working Group commends the Department of Cannabis Control and Laboratory Services Director Tanisha Bogans for recent efforts at combatting THC potency inflation in the cannabis market. As one of our top issues for DCC action since inception, we are encouraged to see the Department take meaningful steps to crack down on bad actors in the industry, making the cannabis marketplace safer for all Californians.
ACIL CA-CWG submits comments on DCC standardized method rule
October 20, 2022 - The ACIL California Cannabis Working Group submitted another round of comments to the Department of Cannabis Control regarding the most recent round of revisions to the Standard Cannabinoids Test Method and Standardized Operating Procedures for All Licensed Commercial Cannabis Testing Laboratories.
CA-CWG applauds DCC for including lab representation on CAC, continues to push for immediate changes in industry
August 2, 2022 - The ACIL California Cannabis Working Group commends the Department of Cannabis Control for the inclusion of an independent testing entity representative on the DCC’s Cannabis Advisory Committee. CA-CWG also continues to call on the Department to take immediate steps to put a halt to potency inflation issues in the cannabis testing industry.
